Does anyone know what happen to this arrow making business and the owners, Ray and Martha Perkins?
I seem to remember hearing that Ray retired a few years ago if I'm not mistaken. I liked looking at his arrows at K-Zoo, definitely art. I should have bought some back then, but I was probably afraid I'd break one.
Beautiful arrows fly just as well as ugly ones and, for the most part, they seem to cost just as much.
Don't ever hesitate to get, and use, beautiful arrows.

I had a few sets,, man what a rotten feeling I got when I lost the first arrow from a fresh dozen of arrow arts.. there was something about their arrows that made them stand out and recently I was looking at the brochure and still they look good....
I remember their ads, should have bought some, but never did.
Out of business. Personnel reasons I heard.
Suzanne St. Charles does some fine arrows as do several sponsors here. And I too find it hard to shoot such works of art.
Shoot'em, break'em, lose'em. Keep the arrowmakers in business so we can see new creations ;)
Thank you every one!
I seen some used ones a while ago that were well used. They looked like miss america would look if she was into mud wrestling. Those arrows were works of art.
Does anyone have some pictures?
Ray Perkins is one of the finest men that I have ever met. He quit taking orders for personal reasons. He has made 5 different groups of arrows for me over the years. He turned my traditional lite carbons into the most beautiful looking arrows I have ever seen. I will try to post some pictures, or I can email.
Chuck, you have a PM.
