I have one that I use out of my pop up for Turkey, and I know if I were to sell it then I'd just be in the same boat you are now.  :)

You may have a little better luck posting this in the classified forum.  Good luck with your search.

You might also look at a Two Tracks Ambush. That will be my next "shorty".

I would, but I am not a contributing member and can not post in the classifieds

What weight are you looking for.

I still have an all black 57 @ 28 right handed to get rid of.

Lon,

Last I heard, nobody is making the sheepeater at this time.  Mike was making them for Brent the past several years but not now.  The last time I looked he had the remaining three Sheepeaters in his inventory for sale in the classifieds here at TradGang; you may want to look at them.  Last time I talked to Brent he said he wasn't going to be making anymore so after Mike sells his, a used one will be the only option, for awhile.

What weight and grip style are you looking for?  Most of the bows with the original straight grip (my preference) can be shot either handed.

I was looking for something around 60# or more at 26"

How does a guy get in touch with Brent?  I too tried sending him an email the other day to tell him how happy I still am with my sheepeater and send him a picture or two.. It is a great little hunting bow that gets a lot of conversation from folks when I show it off.
Oh well.  I'll post here and maybe he will see it.  Thanks Brent..

60#'s at 26" might be a tough score... Mine is 62@29.  Shoots an arrow with some zip and would kill most anything on the planet with the right arrow/placement.. Good luck...

I'm hoping I can just get in touch with Mr. Brent to get one custom made.

Good luck. I've sent Brent several emails over the last 3 months trying to get a new bow made - no reply. Gonna make do with my older straight grip 55# @ 28". Bought this one used and she shoots so good thought I'd like to have a new one made.....

it's been said here and elsewhere that neither Brent nor Dryad will be making them anymore, at least for the time being.

i'll be holding on to mine. love that little thing!

Yep and now the website is gone.  We found a 2006 archived page embedded in the server.

Thanks for the headsup.

Ok, I spoke to Brent on the phone today. Great guy to talk to if you ever get the chance. He is taking orders, but on a limited basis. I appreciate all of the feedback. On another note, Brent was very informative about bows and all of the pros and cons of certain styles. Had a great conversation with him and am now waiting on my bow. Pretty excited.

Scott,

That is great news.. Brent is a class act, and I'm for one glad to see him building his sheepeater, glad you got in touch with Brent.

Keep us posted that is one neat design...

  :archer:

Too bad about the webpage, I was on it two weeks ago, wonder what happened to it.?

Hello everyone, my name is Drew. Brent is my dad and he has in fact stopped making his bows but I will be taking over for him later this year. I am in the process of trying to get a shop set up and I will try to keep everyone up to date as to when I can start accepting orders. I'm glad to see that my dad's bows are still a wanted item and I hope to keep the same report with the Tradgang community that my dad has started.

Welcome to TradGang Drew.

That little bow is a smoker. Good luck carrying on your Dad's line of bows.
