It's been a good hunting season for me. I got my first animal with a longbow a couple of weeks ago, which was a hog. I got my first whitetail now. I forgot my camera at home so I had to field dress it,and then took it over to my buddies house to take pictures and finish skinning it.
I shot it at twenty yards and hit it right behind the shoulder. She went down in thirty yards.

Good job AT, I forget my camera all the time!! Congrats!!
My first traditional harvest was a doe like yours. The previous evening I overshot a nice buck, I didn't pick a spot, but the excitement of it all coming together on that doe was truly surreal. I'm so grateful that I was challenged to hunt traditional; the challenge was really a gift. Congratulations!
Congrats! Thanks for sharing. Your first is very special.
