Good luck !!!!
Good luck DD, talk to Jeff Roberts he is recovering from similar type surgery now and should be able to start shooting this spring as well.
My boss had it last year. He's back hitting a golf ball 300 yards again. I don't envy you doing PT but it's important. Make sure you share your hobby with your therapist and they understand fully what's involved in archery.
Join the crowd. ...i'm shooting with my teeth at the moment
Good luck to you! Hope you have a full and complete recovery!

Hope you Heal up good. sounds like you picked a good time of year for the operation though!
God bless you with a speedy recovery
I had that surgery on both my shoulders. My only advice would be to be patient and follow the Phy Therapy schedule. I rushed my right shoulder and ended up having to get it redone. Left I listened and everything went well.
I hope you will have a fast recovery!
I feel your pain doc told me no way i should shoot a bow. I have never been limited before and its not sitting well with me. Sold most of my trad gear. I am still holding on that i might shoot again. I see my doc feb. 6 I have not been the same since i had to give up my trad passion. But life goes on others have it a lot worse i am still very blessed. Good luck with your recovery. TD.
Ha, I planned the surgery for this time of year. Hope to get back shooting at least by summer to practice for fall. Therapy is fun if you love pain!
Iv'e had both done. The rehab is as important as the surgery. Good luck with the recovery.
