Well, we were surprised with a pretty good load of blems that just came in. I guess they were doing clean out for the end of the year.
At least for now, the pricing hasn't changed. Don't know if that will hold true for the near future or not but get em while you can.
Everything that came in is wood grain and even though we got in a fair amount, we have been known to sell out in short order especially the 3555's and 5575's.
Please place all orders on our website if possible as they will be handled first. We are incredibly busy taking orders and packing during the times that blemishes come in and this will help to ensure that we can get it done correctly and in a timely manner. If you need to call or email, you are welcome
Quick reference:
1535-s .600 spine and work great for bows in the 40lb range and below a bit depending on draw length and center cut of bow. They are 30" shafts
3555-s .500 spine and are best from mid 40's to low 50's depending on draw length and center cut of bow. These are now 32" shafts
5575-s .400 spine and are best from low 50lb bows to low 60lb bows depending on draw length and center cut of bow. These are 32" shafts.
7595-s .300 spine and are best suited for 60 to 75 lb bows depending on draw length and center cut of bow. These are really stiff! They were a staple for me and my low to mid 80lb at 30" cut to center bows with 400 grains up front (cut to 31"). They can be made to work out of less, but if you have them working out of your laminated mid 50's lb bows, there is something skewed.
thanks, bigjim
Ordered mine thank you
Just got mine today :archer2:
thanks, just ordered a doz. 3555s...
Thanks guys. I've got a few to go around, but took me nearly a year to get any amount of them.
thanks, bigjim
Scored me some too
I can hear it now..."Hey Jim, when do you think your going to get some blems in?" Well, there in and in the most popular sizes too. Don't expect them to be there just whenever you want them.
thanks, bigjim
Got a dozen for me and another dozen for my son. Now time to start fletching
Got em!
Just ordered a dozen 3555's. Glad to here they are 32 inches, I have not been able to find any that length. With a 32 draw, it makes a difference. Thanks, Scott.
Ordered 2 dozen. Love me some blems
Pulled the trigger on a dozen 3555s myself. Looking forward to getting them set up!
Need help. I shoot a 70" Hill Wesly Special 46@29" and I pull it a true 31". I normally use a 125 gr BH with a standard long insert. Which size GT's should I order?
John
Perhaps I should add that I am currently using 60-65 11/32" cedars cut to 31-1/2" BOP with 125 grain Ace Stabdards. I often over pull and hit my riser with the broad head and find it difficult to find wood any longer.
John
John, the 5575's would work but you may need to add some more weight up front. Either a 50g aluminum insert or a 100g brass would fit the bill.
A full length 5575 plus nock and feathers, a 100g brass insert and a 125g pt should put you right around 544g. Of course a 50g aluminum would be 494g.
Just a guess mind you, but since that bow is not cut to center, I would opt for the heavier set up.
thanks, bigjim
I'm in. Just ordered me a dozen 5575's and some footing kits, gonna have me some bomb proof stumpers!
We will ship most everything at the first mail pickup after your order, but we are experiencing an incredible amount of orders and this may delay things slightly. Fletched arrows normally go out in 1-2 days. We had so many orders between Friday afternoon and Sunday morning that my wife Barbara and my secretary (Barbara's sister) went in Sunday and packed boxes all afternoon. I refrain from packing boxes and use bow building as an excuse to stay out of the office :)
thanks, BIgJim
"I'd love to help pack boxes, but I've got to go build bows."
No doubt you've got those two ladies fooled.
I might have them fooled, but I know my wife has been asleep for awhile and likely Debbie has too, yet I still have a couple of beaver tails to install tonight before I go to sleep....but they will pack and ship them...not sure who gets the last laugh.

Hey Semo, although you can order it on the web site, we have yet figured out how to do the deposit only thing there.
You are better off calling the office and placing the order...unless you are looking at an in stock TC. Office number - 229-420-5669
thanks, bigjim
I got mine this time, last time I waited too long.
Hurry before they are gone.. Thanks Jim for your service to the archery community.
Terry
Tough to pass up. I know I'll want them when they're not there, so I ordered a dozen for me and another for my daughter. Good stuff.
Okay Jim, I just gave Barb and Debbie some more work to do. I've already kept you busy enough however. That Desert Bighorn is one sweet shooter.
We are slammin them out the door. Ran out of regular boxes and using any thing we can find while we wait on boxes.
Thanks a bunch ya'll,
bigjim
YUP, just hung from ordering a dozen.
We still have all sizes in stock but they are going fast. We received over 1000 doz blems around the first week of the year and have about 400 dz left but that is of all sizes. You know the 3555's and 5575's will fall first and we get very few of those during the year.
Thanks, BigJIm
Got mine in mail yesterday. First time ordering Blems and from Big Jim. 100% satisfied in both.
I can't find a blemish on any of them. and the order came in 3 days. I will be ordering more.
got mine ordered!
Fantastic! Im glad to hear the USPS is doing their job. The last time we got in a batch of blems, we had several issues with damaged boxes.
thanks, bigjim
ttt
Great arrows, just fletched up a few to see how they shoot. Placed a second order .
Thanks
getting slim.. not me but arrow stock.

Got some! Thank You Jim!
I just got the word from Gold Tip...I'm not happy, but it is what it is. When this batch is gone, the next batch will have a slightly higher price tag.
According to my rep, he sent these out while the "Boss" was at a show...or something and I should have been notified of a price increase. They have decided to allow them at the old price, but the next batch will be more.
Sorry bout that but it comes from the top.
thanks, bigjim
Start an affaire with the secretary. You are a handsome man Jim, so that will be a piece of a cake. Next step will be to take a look into the agenda of the big boss, easily done...
Then order when he is on show again...can't be that difficult...
:bigsmyl:
Dutchman...me handsome? you are scaring me. I think an eye check might help your shooting too.
BIgjIm
Better chance that Barb or Deb could sweet talk the big boss into the old price than Jim making any headway with his secretary, I'd wager.
