Michael, here are a couple pics. Longbows are a forward handle design in both take down and 1 piece.  Recurve will be a forward handle design also in the 1 piece and the take down will be a forward limb design.  (http://i1336.photobucket.com/albums/o641/cengert74/IMG_20130714_151205_779_zps5256b3fa.jpg) (http://s1336.photobucket.com/user/cengert74/media/IMG_20130714_151205_779_zps5256b3fa.jpg.html)   (http://i1336.photobucket.com/albums/o641/cengert74/IMG_20140101_112534_492_zps6dcee458.jpg) (http://s1336.photobucket.com/user/cengert74/media/IMG_20140101_112534_492_zps6dcee458.jpg.html)   (http://i1336.photobucket.com/albums/o641/cengert74/IMG_20131224_160145_703_zps1ae34b9d.jpg) (http://s1336.photobucket.com/user/cengert74/media/IMG_20131224_160145_703_zps1ae34b9d.jpg.html)   (http://i1336.photobucket.com/albums/o641/cengert74/IMG_20131224_125157_345_zpsf3bca452.jpg) (http://s1336.photobucket.com/user/cengert74/media/IMG_20131224_125157_345_zpsf3bca452.jpg.html)   (http://i1336.photobucket.com/albums/o641/cengert74/IMG_20131114_185927_630_zps288e752f.jpg) (http://s1336.photobucket.com/user/cengert74/media/IMG_20131114_185927_630_zps288e752f.jpg.html)

are there any specific creeks, rivers, landforms, etc that your shop will be near or that you like to hunt? That always makes for a good story in a name.

for instance, not sure which part of nebraska you're in, but "sandhills archery" would work for north central NE  :)

I'd go with a name that has special meaning to you.  A place, landmark...  Something that tells a story that you want to share and be associate with.  Lot's of cool places in Nebraska.  You might want to do a search to make sure a website domain name is available for what you choose.

Cheers,
KSPete

How about "Autumn Affair Archery"

You could name the models after the months of the year. Get twelve models and you could have a sexy bow calendar.

in fact i think that is the cleverest name i have seen!
great tie in with the archery/bleeding heart, and his current name.
and the kind of humor that all trad archers might like- as long as its true- quality no problem- seen his bows...

Lot's of good ideas so far... one suggestion is I would keep the word "Bow" out of the name.   It limits your new business options later on ...

Just like it wasn't Bear Bow Inc. or Martin Bow Co. is was Bear Archery and Martin Archery.

Now you may only want to build bows, which is all fine, but you never know.

my 2 cents...good luck and hope you make a million...

Heartland Bows with model names that further reflect your region

Rivers for Recurves (like that alliteration?)- Platte River Recurve,  Missouri River Recurve, etc.

Cities for Longbows-Lincoln Longbow, Kearney Longbow, etc.

Just steer clear of Broken Bow Longbow!
