Went on a rove today and took my first longbow shoe :) Switched from recurves to mostly shooting longbows earlier this past summer and really enjoying it.

Well done! I got my first cottontail last week with my R/D and was pretty happy about it - 100x more satisfying than with a gun.
-
Awesome pic! Congrats!

Thanks fellas. Cyclic , I don't spot them near as good as I did as a kid

Awsome. Lot of fun to hunt with a beagle, but hard to get a decent shot in the thick brush.

Nice job!

Nice job! That isn't an easy target!!

Looks like fun. Good job!!

Izzy , No not many this year , at least not in this area. Lots of coyote , fox , and cat tracks.

A snowshoe? I am jealous. I love bunny hunting.

Great job congrats.

Good job on the Bunny....
My first Longbow kill was a Cotton tail.
Any kill with trad archery is a trophy.

Too much snow up here this year. Lots of bunnies though.
-
Congrats on the Rabbit. Our season is still in here in Maryland until the end of February.

Thanks for sharing. Congrats on the trophy.

I look forward to the October bunny opener. This is a down year and things are scarce, but I still go. This kind of hunting/ stalking makes you sharper for big game. I saw one varying hare at about 8500 feet in October while deer hunting, but would love to have them down here at 5200 feet. Congrats

Good shooting.
