Title: Fletching Weight ?
Post by: Josh Perdue on January 04, 2014, 05:30:00 PM
Does anyone have a rough idea of how much three 5 inch shield cut feathers weigh?  Just wanting to get an accurate estimate of how many gpp I shoot.
Thanks
Josh

I just weighed 3 trueflight 5" shields.  Came up with 9 grains on my scale.  Just one of those cheap $10 digitals.

I use 3 5" trueflight shield cut feathers. Weighed on a Dillon precision grain scale with glue is 17 to 19 grains depending on how I squeeze the tube.
