I have been looking into getting a ghillie suit for hunting deer and turkeys. The two that I am interested in right now are a Marc Anthony, and a big Jim bush in a bag. What do you guys use. I thought of making my own. But I do not have the means to do so. Thanks Don
I have both the Marc Anthony and the Bush-in-a-Bag. I much prefer the Marc Anthony as it is really a pants and jacket while the Bush in a bag is more of a poncho style. IMO there is less potential for your string to snag on the MA. Also, if you want to still hunt with your ghillie on the MA works fine but it would be real tough with the Bush in a bag. I haven't had my bush in bag on since I got the Marc Anthony. I can't envision a scenerio where the Bush in a Bag would be a better option than the MA.
All that said, they both conceal you quite well and I've had deer and turkeys very close while wearing either one.
I bought one from GhillieGhillie.com

I've trimmed the left arm for arm guard/string clearance. I don't like the hat/mask because it obstructs my vision & hearing. The pants pick up everything.
But I think it'll bring success soon.
MA x 2  I only use the jacket along with separate head cover, no pants.
Ifrom the sportsman bought mine
I bought mine from the sportsman guide, $40.00
It is a long coat that covers from head to knees.
Sorry about the miss print!
My wife and I made mine. It is not that hard and you can customize it for your environment.
You couldn't wear ghillie or leafy pants and walk around down here. Tried it and the pants legs are still tied together with briars and thrown in the back of the closet.
The poncho is very handy and conceals your outline very well plus on and off in seconds. I have used it as a camo screen too and set up behind it. Works great if your going to be sitting for hours. That way you can move more than if you were just wearing the blind.
