Wheres your snow.
Good luck to you!
Yah good luck,
I had my last sit on sat only saw one deer no shot though. Tomorrows the last day of the season here I'm off too. Sad thing is it going to be -32 to -37 degrees tonight with a high of --16 to -11 tomorrow. With -45 to -55 wind chills So it's pretty much over I'm not that tough or stupid (pick one) anymore. So enjoy I dread the long wait till exit season :(
New Years day is it for us. I always sit that last afternoon to say goodbye to the season. It will be cold this year, but it looks like a perfect wind for my best stands.

Just 2 more sits for me. This season came and went way too quickly. Good luck in 2014.
DWT, we had a foot of snow until it hit 60 degrees the other day. I hear we will be getting more this week.
:banghead: our season ended 3 months ago and does not start again for 7 months 3 weeks, 2 days and a wake up call.
Joe, you are welcome to come chase whitetails in NJ for Jan.
I absolutely love hunting in the snow, makes things a lot easier to see. However I'm not great at managing the cold so it's always a struggle to get out. Our season goes until Jan 10 so I'm trying to gather the ambition to go out tonight and again this weekend.
I went for my last hunt of 2013 this afternoon. I didn't expect to see anything-I didn't, but it was still nice to be out.
well I missed my last day of this year to hunt, I slipped on the Ice and busted my backside, threw my back out! good news is im gonna live and if I buy a 2014 license I can use my unfilled tag to get a Doe! one of the good things about Kansas! other than big Deer, fat rabbits and lots of Geese!

My first hunt of 2014 will be Friday sitting on a stool in a ditch full of cedar trees watching a Jeep road the deer like to travel, at about shoulder height. No snow but it should be about 36 degrees.
