Wondering what everyone got this year? I got a new Badlands Reactor pack. Just what I wanted! Nothing too big but able to hold what I want to carry in to the treestand! Sweet
Time with family and friends. Great food. Paid time off work. The rest is just icing on the cake!
Time with the family. I wish my daughter, who lives in Brooklyn, could be here, though. I got just a few items of clothes and shoes, but the very best gift that came this Christmas is news that I will again be a Grandpa! Don't know the sex yet, but it will be due in July. A very, very good Christmas, indeed.
6 pack of Zwicky heads (I need the adapters though) and a new shooting glove.
I've never shot the Zwickys, but they look good.
New 'puter so I can continue to keep up with Tradgang!!!
I don't usually get any bow hunting stuff from the family. I'm the only life long bow hunter in my family. While they don't disapprove they just don't share my disease.
I got a package of new socks and lots of smiles on my kid's faces! That was just what I wanted! Merry Christmas!
Santa not so much But Jesus a lot ! Merry Christmas.
Got some camo bandages from my wife.....?
My wife got me Cabela's Ultimate Bowhunting vest. It's really nice with lots of pockets to carry all my stuff. She did well this year
Icebreaker wool long john bottoms.....in camo! I didn't even know they made camo. Mr. Heater hunting buddy propane heater also in camo! Everything is better in camo!
GDPolk - X2! Time with loved ones is the greatest gift.
(But I did get the entire Fred Bear film collection!)

Amen
Besides the material to build a dozen woodies, the time with my family is priceless. First Christmas with my new grandson, and my Children and parents. We are all healthy, and are working. A day to remind myself how fortunate I am.

"Wondering what everyone got this year?" My wife and I do not exchange gifts, we have everything we need. We do get gifts for our children Finn (4) and Kaia (23 months).
Good health, each other and a warm home is about the best one could do!
Merry Christmas Trad Brothers -
Kris
well i told my wife i want to set up my garage for making laminated longbows. she said she wanted a Pomeranian. after some consideration(on my part) i gave in and said DEAL!!! so she got her lil rat dog, i got a bandsaw, drillpress, beltsander, benchgrinder, laminated bow press kit from binghams, misc. lumber for shelving and workbench, whole mess of odds and ends. heater and lights for garage. me and a buddy ordered materials from kenny. shop near set up and ready. i think i came out ahead. will have to do sumthin nice for her b-day, maybe her first tradbow? she's still a rifle and compound shooter.
kids got seriously spoiled from the grandparents. bout 25 people coming for dinner and i'm still in my new mossy oak jammies, same as the kids. ;)
My darling wife got me a copy of one with the wilderness, a hat and t shirt from 3 rivers, new bag target, some paracord and a ton of fun playing with my lil guy and his first hotwheels track! Kids make Christmas awesome, I'd be happy with nothing but the smile on his face and bunches of hugs.
Santa left one of his reindeer in my yard!
Got a hollow ground broadhead sharpener, Fred Bear glove, bow stringer, nock pliers, bow square, and a trad video all from 3 Rivers. The wife knows me after 28 years.
Was he ever. The wife got me on big Jim's list for a new bow. She also got me insulated camo bibs. And a super bright Ozark trails lithium-ion LED flashlight.
Spine tester and feather burner, a couple of things I have been wanting for many years. Time with family was the highlight though.
Got a new 3-D target.....but best of all spent time with my grandson......I have to move closer to him!!
Got the green light from Mama and got on Kent's list for a Timberghost RC!! My parents got me some new GT arrows, arrow collars, feathers, and a pair of 3rivers videos. As I mentioned in another thread, the best gift is His grace.... he was born so that he could die. "There is no forgiveness without the shedding of blood."
I received the greatest gift, spending time with my wife and children. :bigsmyl:
Santa dropped off some woodies and a Fred Bear limited edition print framed and ready to be hung.
Craig.... You are overlooking an important "thing" that your wife calculated into the bargain (I know, I am going thru the exact same issues here and this spring I build a shop)... a place for you to go and stay away from her (out of her hair !) for large chunks of time.. priceless !

Electronic predator caller cause when I grow up I want to be just like Thumper Dunker!
The wife went overboard this year and got me a super nice moultrie black out trail camera, a fancy ladderstand, and a browning folding hunting knife that has the assist open function.
Received some brass inserts and steel adapters for the dozen Beman shafts as well as a "Big Man" Spot 360 chair! But the greatest gifts was that my son, daughter in law, grandson and granddaughter came up early from TN to spend Christmas with me and my wife, my daughter and her boyfriend and his son.
My mother passed away Christmas morning and having my family here with me was a great comfort. Knowing that my Mom was spending Jesus' birthday with Him, didn't diminish the sense of loss, but it made me appreciate having my loved ones close by. God Bless you all, Mike
I finally got a white tail buck! Thank you Santa!
And my daughter got me a brand new Ranch Lion.
Check out these two... :biglaugh:

Got a metal detector so I can become rich through discovery and support my archery habit.
My oldest son works for Hewlett Packard and he got me a new HP laptop for Christmas. I'm up north hunting the late season right now and I can get on TG and see whats going on... That education I paid for is starting to pay off...
Ron,
I didn't think you had WIFI way up north!
We ditched Santa in Hawaii this year.
I'm not WAY up north so I'm using my Son's WIFI
I got me a great northern kick back quick detach quiver with the bob lee logo. All I need to do is order my new bob lee heavyweight with 17inch riser and bocote limbs and I will be set for life lol.
my wife got me a 3D pic of a wolf way cool
Got the greatest gift as I opened my front door after church and their stood my youngest daughter from Texas. What a great surprise that was. God also blessed us all with good health and great food. Stocking stuffer had a dozen Ace 175's for my pig hunt in March.
I got a safari tuff Arrowmaster :)
I got a hickory bamboo backed longbow from rudderbows. Santa also brought my 12 yr old a longbow making kit. Also taper tool and some shafts. Been out of trad archery for a couple years and have missed it.
The best gift of all was watching my 18 month old son opening his gifts! The wife also gave me the green light to buy a new pair of binoculars. After months of looking I've narrowed the race to Vortex Razors or Zeiss Conqests.
I was happy to receive a few pounds of AA and AAA batteries and a few hours with my screw drivers. All for the enjoyment of my 5 grand children.
