I used to own a 66" Wes Wallace Mentor takedown that I sold. I now shoot primarily longbows. But I'm starting to think that a one-piece recurve might nice.
Has anyone had a Wes Wallace one-piece Mentor? How do these bows perform / compare to his three piece Mentor?
Thanks,
Rob

I have a one piece Mentor that I purchased used a long time ago. I love it. Smooth draw, feels good in my hands, fast, and accurate. Real pretty to look at too. Not a bad word to say about it, and would definitely buy one new if I have some disposable income burning a hole in my pocket.
I have one I found in the classifieds a while back. I can't compare it to a Wallace TD but it's a nice shooting bow and very nice to look at.

Now that's a nice looking bow
X's 2...
Had a 3 piece Mentor and also a 1 piece at the same time. Same specs and killed with both, the 1 piece was slightly lighter but had the same great riser-just melts in the hand. Only bows I regret selling-the grass is not greener on the other side.
