Title: Looking for a Hog hunt in March

I'm looking to go hog hunting the week of March 10th.  I'd like to drive so I'm hoping to find something within 18-19 hours of Brainerd, MN 56401.  I want to hunt free ranging hogs and I plan to pay.  Of course I have bows to trade if that is preferable.  Anyone have info on a place in OK, north Texas or anywhere within 18 hours?  There would be at least 2-3 hunters.  Thanks so much.  Chad

Chad....I may can help you out. I have a friend that hunts hogs on his land and surrounding areas, and is always inviting me out. Give me a little time to see what I can come up with. He's in the OK/TX area, and is more fun than a barrel of monkeys.

Hey, Chad. Sorry I never got back with you about finding a place here in OK to hunt hogs. I just never found anything remotely consistant (public lands) for holding hogs, or any private lands to try out. I'm really sorry I haven't been able to help you out, but I'm still always on the look-out for ya! Good luck to ya, and I promise to let ya know if/when I find something like what you're looking for!

Hey Chad if you go to Florida in March and hunt with Jim you could hit the TBOF shoot, and show off your bows and write off the trip.

Stretch a string outfitters south of Tyler TX is an option. Good guy. I've always seen hogs just not always got one. Still it's a fun spot.

Thanks.  Someday I will hunt with Jim.  I have talked to him a couple times.  Great guy.  I am looking for something a little closer, where I can drive.  I wouldn't be able to hunt south Florida without taking the whole family and it just won't work this year.  Chad
