I'm in the Denver megamess for Christmas, so as usual, I dropped in to Rocky Mt. Specialties. For those who haven't been, here is a quick look at what you are missing. They have more bows than Mudd:

Literally hundreds of bows.
Need some feathers?

How about a few broadheads?

The counter, where my money goes regularly:

I didn't take pics of the literally hundreds of knives that they have, but you can find just about whatever your heart desires in that field. Suffice to say, they probably have what you might need if it is tradtional archery related.
What a Great store!I have never been there but would love to.My guess,it would be costly.
Thanks for posting
Thanks for sharing, have you ever bought there wood shafts?

All I shoot for some time. They hand weigh and spine everything to very close tolerances. Good shafts.
Wish we something like that here.....really neat!!
Glad that's not near here I'd never have any $money$.
Love this place and the people there.
After you don't handle every other bow on the wall, don't amble around those glass cases and counters, trouble I say.....trouble...good thing I'm far...far....away....was a fun place to visit though.....
^^^ Agree with Littlejake. I have ordered stuff from their website - great folks to deal with.
Stopped by there for the first time in October and was greatly impressed. I felt at home. Nice people to deal with.
Behind those gentleman in the background is the "test track" where you can really see how those hundreds of bows work in your own hands. Great people. Great place!

If I lived around there I would be a fixture in that store!
RMSG is the best archery shop I have ever stepped foot in, bar none!!!!!!

Hell I even went there to hang out when all I shot was compounds.

I love how the bows aren't behind a counter - RIGHT IN YOUR FACE! And knives, you say...Oh my.
I wish there was such a store close around here!
I left out that they have gobs of shafts, wood and carbon, and make custom arrows, too. Just a few of them....

I wish we had that here but on the other hand, I am sure I am saving Money by not having it here.
Are you hit with the smell of cedar when you first walk in? I still remember that from the archery shops of my childhood. Thanks for sharing Centaur, hopefully I'll get up there some day. - John
My wish is for another entrepreneur like Paul Brunner to emerge and another Screaming Eagle. He had unique items not found anywhere else.
I stop in every time I get out that way ,always a fun time . My hunting partner and I stopped in this past fall after a Wyoming antelope hunt and had a great time shooting a variety of bows and visiting with the staff , if you're ever in the area treat yourself to a visit.
Probably the best archery shop you'll ever find. Extremely helpful, fair and great people to talk with.
Miss that shop, wish we had one like that here. I lived in Colorado Springs and made the trip up there often. Everything you'd want and great guys to boot.
No doubt one of my favorite places. Lucky I can be there in a little over an hour
WOW! Now that is a store.......
.. mike ... :archer2: ...
Tom Clum and his sons, Tommy and Danny, are the most knowledgeable, genuine, and honest people you will deal with. Tom Clum taught me to shoot a little over two years ago. He spent over an hour with me, and never charged a dime. I remember that I wanted to buy a used Toelke that he had in the shop that very night. He suggested that I wait, come back and shoot some more, and take my time. Since then, I visit the store often. I have bought several bows there, and they have sold a number of my bows for me. And they have helped me match arrows to numerous bows. They are always friendly and helpful.
Thanks RMSG!

And don't just think of this as a small Colorado archery shop. Rocky Mountain Specialty Gear is a sponsor for TradGang. They have a link at the top of the Powwow page, and they sell bows, arrows, quivers, gloves (that they manufacture) all across the country.

No doubt! They'd have to start charging me rent - or hire me, one or the other.
