Title: Great Christmas Knife Gift
Post by: highPlains on December 14, 2013, 08:58:00 PM
We have two smokin' deals on knives right now. We come across good deals from time to time, but this is one of the better knife deals we've found in a while.

My Dad loves trappers, and he has passed on his love for this style to me. I own quite a few. I cannot resist a trapper knife that catches my eye. It cannot be denied that every hunter needs at least one trapper knife in his collection.

This week I procured 15 "Buckskin" bone carbon blade trappers from Boker USA. These knives area made in Germany and are beautiful. These knives are being offered at the special half-off price of $45.00.

First come first served, until we are out of stock.

Buy Boker Trapper - TRAPPERS ARE ALL GONE.

Buy Boker Copperhead (https://www.rmsgear.com/store/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=2139&idcategory=1)

My Dad tells this story all the time about the trapper knife.

"I was once amazed by an Indian hunter in Alaska. As he got ready to gut and quarter a moose, he simply pulled out a bone handled trapper knife. He used the knife for about half of the job, then pulled out an identical version from his other pocket. The man totally dismantled a moose with two pocket knives.

I thought that this was so neat that the next time I shot a deer, all I had with me was a Boker stag handled trapper with carbon steel blades. I proceeded to gut and dismantle that deer with my trapper knife. The knife performed beautifully."

Nathan , click on the orange text at the bottom of the post. Both take you directly to each knife. That IS an excellent deal on a good and handy knife. We all get a little lazy with the lock blades of today. I love my Trapper style knife; it is not a Boker but I wish it was!

Nathan,

I wanted to give everybody a chance to get them here first so they are only available through the links that I provided.

If anyone has some last minute Christmas shopping to do here is a great idea.

These guys are the tops to deal with.

Although I have more knives than I will ever need, you are tempting me, Tommy.   :knothead:

Tom - I just placed an order for two copperheads before I read your post that they were sold out.  Am I good, or did I miss the boat?

You are good David. I sold out of the initial stock that I had, but I am picking up more Copperheads this morning (I edited my post so that is not confusing). Yours will ship today.

I am only limited on Trappers. Half of them are gone.

Pat, trust me, I know what you mean!

Great - thank you!  My nine year old daughter has been hounding me about a knife for a while, and I think the copperhead will make a nice gift for her.

Thanks for the offer!

Trappers are officially gone.

Keith I was able to get my hands on more of those Copperheads. I thought that availability might be an issue at first but I have plenty now.
