Hello All,
Well it's that time of year again, I asked Santa for Black Widow gift certificates so I can put in another bow order. Here is my question. I had them build me a 64" MAX 55#@30" last year and I love it. I am looking to either get another MAX in a different poundage probably 50@30" 62" or 64" or a 62" PAX. I was thinking if I got another MAX I would have back up limbs (you never know) but I shot a PAIII last year and really liked it. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

I love their one piece recurves, so the PA would be my choice...and with the 62" for a long draw of 30". Those PA's just look like the perfect one for me.
Did you send a letter to Santa for his advice?
See my reply on the [l.w.]and If you are not travelling--a one piece is a very nice addition to your collection--I enjoy my PTF.
Have fun.
I would think hard about ordering a PCH or the KB. I think it is the quietest recurve Black Widow makes.
PSA 62"
The PA is my favorite if you don't need a t/d, if so I would test drive a PCH and see what you think. All Widows are good though.
Looks to me like a 2-piece PL needs to find it's way into your hands. :bigsmyl: I'm bias. I really them PL longbows. Have fun! rat'
Just order the PAX and look for another set of limbs for the MAX.

Traver, can I have the address of the Santa that you sent your request to, cause the one that I asked told me ..." YOU AIN'T BUYIN' ANOTHER #*#@** BOW.... :nono: :(
58" PCHX 50@28 low grip. Let me know when you are done with it. :D
If they made it 64" long I'd recommend the PTF.
I sold three bows last fall and put the money towards one 64" MAX with all of my specs including our Hunter family crest on the limbs. My goal is to pass on the bows to my two sons when they are ready for them. That's how I have gotten my wife to go along with the purchases. I will pass them on but in the meantime I get to hunt with them for a few years. :biglaugh:
Riverrat 2,
I have seriously thought about putting a take down PLX in the stable that way I could go back and forth between longbow and recurve.
You can't go wrong witha PLX either . That's my other favorite Widow!
