Title: Knock height movement
Post by: Gottabow on December 13, 2013, 11:34:00 AM
Will twisting or untwisting your string change the knock height at all when tuning?  Thanks for your input.

Slightly, I imagine.  Do you have T-square?  Experiment.  Certainly it depends on how much twisting you are doing and how new the string is.  A newer string will stretch more than a string that is "shot-in".  Depends on string material, quality of workmanship, etc.

I check both knock and brace all the time so am constantly adjusting both accordingly.

Good Luck -

Kris

No it should stay right there,as you twist you are twisting the whole string. On an ILF changing the tiller will affect the nock position.
