A couple of friends helped me with some work at one of our properties this past weekend. They hunted mornings and evenings and we did work mid-day. I saw lots of turkeys over the three days, including some really nice toms! Here is a short video of some sights and sounds of south Florida in December.

Like that hog target that you are practicing with in your videos!
Where did you get it?
would love to make it down there one day. my sister lives in St. Pete. how far are you guys from there?
Great Video!
johnnyk71, it's about 3 hours, 170 miles. Directly across the state.
Bob, we got the target from Dink's Feather shop, a TG sponsor. They're great, really hold up well.
Thanks.

Smoked pork sounds good :bigsmyl:
Just as I remember it. See you guys in March! Well done Jim.
Nice work Jim
Thanks everybody. Please "Like Us" on Facebook and check out our Youtube channel("Jim Dussias", can't figure out how to change it to True South Adventures?)
Many Thanks you guys, for making our property better.
Can't wait to get down there to see the improvements.
I'm itching to build some nice ground blinds before all the action starts.
Keeping the scent down, making a nice spot for two, and staying dry in case it rains are going to be worth it.
Looks like we have plenty of resident pork again this year.
See you mid January, Jim.
Very nice!
I'll see you guys in february, and I'll figure on using one (or more ) of those blinds ;)
I'm counting on bringing home the bacon. :bigsmyl:
Just a matter of time before I get down to Florida again. Would love to give it another try and get to meet you.
Tom,
Irv's got some great ideas for ground blinds. We will be building them in early January. We also put two new feeders on a property nearby that should be getting hit by now(there was hog sign everywhere).
We will get down here some day can't wait till we do!!!
