With 2 tags left decided to "turn back" the clock for the last week of NY Archery. Filled up the Schulz backquiver with arrows tipped with some Pearson Deadheads and Zwickeys...then strung up the little Browning Cobra. 50" 55# and it shoots like a dream. Giving the Kempf and Fedora a much needed rest.
Past few days sitting in this bitter cold in some Snow Camo....nothing close enough to fling an arrow at.

Good luck Joe. I love the quiver. I`ve decided to hunt "grounded" for deer the rest of the season. When I went on my "walk" yesterday I found several hot spots way away from the road. I was thinking it would be a llooonnngg way to tote a stand. at every good spot I looked around and found a good ground spot for nearly every wind.Happy holidays,RC.
Your not kidding Joe this weather has been frigid! Gonna be 0 here tomorrow morning. However I saw 2 bucks the other night one was HOT on a doe like it was still November.
That Cobra is a beautiful little bow, just perfect for hunting from a ground blind! Good luck with your late season!

That's a cool looking little bow. Me and short bows don't get along too well so I will leave it with you!
Good luck filling those last two tags!

The bow in my avatar is a browning cobra that Alex loved shooting when he was little!
Good Luck Joe. Great set up!
Many moons ago I started with a Browning Nomad Stalker........a 52"er........it was $37.50 new.
That's a cool looking little bow there .....
Thats a sweet little bow no doubt! Gotta love the shorties :shaka:
Good luck Joe.
By the way, I love the bow.
Awesome bow! Happy hunting.
Joe, I have had nothing but tag soup so far. Just a couple weeks left of the 2013 season left here. Been messing around zone 5 with all the bears and muzzle loaders. Stay warm and good luck. That bow is too little for me, but I love seeing your vintage collection.
Good looking Bow!
