OK this is very low quality footage.... especially after seeing Stickflinger's cool production. But, it is an example of winter deer hunting in Montana. They really pile into the river bottoms. (ask uncle Barry)
Granted this is one of the better days of last year. However if they are really on the move, its not uncommon to have a flurry like this. I shot this with my iPhone last year during the last week of November. Can you count the number of deer?
Hint: There are nearly as many standing still as moving.

Cool video and a bunch of deer running around.
I'm going with 12. Winner gets to hunt with Jeff on some private land next fall! Lol! Lots of movement for sure...
You have quite a few targets in the area!

looks like a good place to fill a freezer...
Unfortunately I cannot play the video with my computer but I think I can see 3 in the blurry still photo.
Don't make me blush! I love the clip...reminds me of when I used to hunt river systems! More deer there than arrows in my quiver...that's all I know! Thanks...Ryan
a bunch. that is a cool video, thanks for sharing.
I think you were surrounded. Need to call in some reinforcements.

Yup!
I love it when they're bunched up in the late season like that! Thanks for sharing.
Very cool!
Keith... thanks. Yeah I remember counting around 2 dozen at the time. However, many does were just standing in the distance in willows. The moving deer were the young bucks mostly and one 3 year old that steps out mid video.
Regarding a winner... you're it! If you find yourself in Yellowstone in Nov. pm me. The only drag is the landowner limits our guests to does only. The hunting is good though.
:bigsmyl:
That's fun stuff! I had 11 come in together last night in the timber couldn't move for what seamed like forever.
