Hope this works??? My thread titled "My bow went off" from early November has this video to go along with it. It's not really edited, just clips pieced together.
For those wondering, the buck from the 1st day and the one I am successful on are the same deer. One week apart and a 1/2 mile away.....yet the only buck I saw.
CONGRATES ... and thank for sharing ... nice to see a ground shot for a change ... nice short trail too!!!
Very Very cool!! I really enjoyed it. Thanks for posting and congrats.
that was impressive. boy that arrow hit him hard. nicely done.
That was great, thanks for sharing.
You have serious multi-tasking abilities. Very tastefully done...

Here he is! Thanks for all the kind words and support!
Awesome video, thanks for sharing it with us Ryan.
Great video, i love it!!
Awesome! I also commented on your video via Youtube.
I think you can hear the air come out of his lungs when the arrow hit home. Great shot on a fine animal.
Very well done!
The arrow actually hits way too far forward. In the video you see the fletches to the right of the point of impact. I didn't think the arrow would get there that fast....need a slower bow I guess!
Great video, thanks for sharing!
Super cool stickfingers!!!
Tell us a little about your setup, if you don't mind. Your film equipment too. Extremely we'll done all the way around.
Jake
Sorry, auto correct messed up your name. Stickflingers.
Jake
Very nicely done Ryan ... Happy Holidays to you and yours
great shot & video
Very nice. Thanks for sharing
Wow...overwhelming replys...thank you!
My bow is a 58" #58 Tall Tines r/c, shooting an FMJ 400 with a 200gr. VPA Terminator. The arrow is around 550 grains.
The camera is a Canon G10 on a Muddy arm with Manfrotto fluid head in the tree, and a cheapo tripod for ground hunting. Need a good tripod and head for years to come.
Trying my best to get footage that is nicer to watch but still learning. Hoping to let the footage tell the story...tough to do alone but fun at the same time.
Thanks again for all the kind words guys!!
Newbies, take heed. He didn't say a word, but you can learn an awful lot from watching this video. Very well done. Congrats.
Very classy! Congrats on a wonderful hunt and great footage
Love those Manitoba bucks, congrats on a great harvest!
Just finished watch your hunt Ryan.
Hats off to you man. It's tough enough just arrowing one of these beast let alone filming it also. Congrats on a very fine piece of footage.

Top notch for sure. Thanks and Congrats!

Wow, Ryan, not only was that a great hunt to watch but the led in to the kill shot was excellent. You do have some skills brother and a great feel for the hunt. Again congrats, that's a keeper both the buck and video. :clapper:

Ryan, Outstanding work. I loved how you quickly and calmly prepared for a follow up shot. It shows your experience.
The video was great, thanks for sharing and congrats on your buck!
That is awesome to say the least!!
Simply "OUTSTANDING"......
Cool video to say the least. I have edited a few family videos and know that took some time. Well done!
I think you've done a great job capturing your hunt. I believe that traditional bowhunting is more about the journey through the woods than just a harvest. You did a great job of expressing all the parts of your hunt. I wish there were more hunting videos like yours. I really enjoyed it.
Thanks for sharing, very well done
I am so thankful for this feedback...overwhelmed actually!
Yes, I only hunted the 2 days. Like mentioned in my thread from November, I've taken my last 3 animals the 2nd time out. Seems as though 2nd times a charm.
I have my fall bear hunt on similar style video where the footage tells the story. Was hoping that it would be a refreshing style video vs. what we see on TV. The Brothers of the Bow stuff is so awesome it's hard not to emulate.
Thank you again everyone...Ryan
Ryan that is as well done by one man as I have ever seen..... Excellent, truly excellent!!!
:notworthy:
Great job on a beauty.
Awesome video.
I also checked out your site. Looks like you are pretty busy...booke dfull thru 2017! Congrats on that sucess as well.
Some very good scenes and angles. Nicely done!
Thank you for sharing your hunt with us. Very tastefully done, and yet captures the thrill and essence of the pursuit. Well done!
Keep up the good work. Don't get discouraged if a few animals get away as you try to do both film and hunt at the same time. Nice browtines on bucks in your area. Cool. Mike
That was awesome!!! Way to go man! The video was great!
Very nice! Good job done on all aspects. I dable with video a bit myself but this is a academy award winner! :clapper:

Wow Ryan! Awesome job getting it done yet again, and loved the video. Really nicely done.
Ryan that is really good stuff! By the way, what are those gloves you are wearing. I've been looking for a glove I can shoot 3 under with.
Great video and hunt. Congrats
Great job Ryan !! absolutely love the video.
Truly awesome! That was just what I needed to fire me up to get back out in the cold this late season! Thanks.
Absolutely awesome. What can't the outdoor channel do that!
Nice to see a kill scene that showed reverence for the animal and some humility on the part of the hunter, excellent work Ryan and congratulations.
Really well done, all around.
Thanks for sharing, seeing how you do things helps me in my efforts.

Great deer, great video. Even greater, the respect and thankfulness shown at the end.
And yeah, would be awesome to see more of that type of stuff on TV. I can hardly stomach most of it.
Great job Ryan!
Great Video footage, Well done!
:clapper:
Very well done Ryan!!! that was awesome.
Stickflinger...WOW!! let me start by saying what you did with limited resources and a "one man show" captured the essence of the hunt more so than the dvds im spending 20$ on. if i were to make a "movie" my goal would be to take the audience along on the hunt...not preach some nonsense or tout some product. you did that man!! i wasnt watching your hunt, i was hunting with you!! the fact that you did that alone and with your family cam corder....dude, your the man!! dont get me wrong, theres nothing wrong with a little narration, but man it totally set the tone that there was no distraction from talking. we were on a hunt, we didnt need to chit chat. you captured the essence of the hunt beyond what ive seen. not attacking anyone here, but i really dont care or need to hear mike wadell, bill jordn or some bleached blonde chick telling me about their hunt, fist pumping and acting as though their the top dawg. i will fully admit when those "celebs" open their mouths the volume goes off. your actions after the kill, a silent moment, a prayer lifted and respectful contact with the animal sealed the deal dude. i think i've about needed professional therapy after watching some of these guys like stan potts attack the camera man with spit flying from his mouth after a kill. you did it man. i got almost 3 foot of standing snow. cabin fever will set in early. i'll be watching this clip over and over all winter. THANKS!!
oh, and great buck by the way! the only buck in 7 days...the north woods can make for some tough hunting.
Very enjoyable video to watch. Like others have said, I was there with you. When watching videos I often say to myself, "when is this going to get to the point?" I was captivated the entire time. Great job!
Really enjoyed it Ryan....thanks for taking the time to share with us. Congrats again on a fine buck and a fine video.
Ryan;
Congratulations and thank you for taking us all along on a great hunt.
Great job again bud! This is how a hunting movie should be done! Nothing but respect!!
So, when do we get to see the bear hunt footage? I can hardly wait.
Great video of an awesome hunt! Congrats on a beautiful buck!
Nice shoot.
Well done.... Couldn't have been better! Congratulations, I'm happy for you!!!
As said before "Awesome video" I really enjoyed it and congrats on a nice Buck.
Excellent video. What a dandy buck and nice shot on a moving animal.
Cool video Ryan, some interesting cinematography (thank god for spell check).
Very nicely done, and I like that shoulder bag.
What a great video!! Thanks so much for sharing.
That buck acted more as if it was hit with a .30-06 than an arrow!!!
Great job, and thanks for taking us all along!
Excellent job my friend. I love the two hunts edited together with footage of the same deer, very cool. I also love the respect and prayer said after the harvest. I know for a fact that this happens even when the camera isn't rolling. Thanks for sharing your hunt.
Now get working on editing your fall bear hunt (lol).
Very well done! Both your video and buck were outstanding, congratulations!
-Jay
Great hunt and great buck. Congrats!
Great vid. Awesome buck!! Thanks for letting us tag along.
Great video Ryan!! Congrats on a nice buck!
Very nice work. Love the footage!
awesome video, congrats on a great deer
That is about as good as it gets for me and watching a "hunting show".... congrats on the buck and thanks for letting me go hunting with you!
Awesome. Thankfulness. . . to the One. Very Good.
Great Video!!! I get tired of the all the soundtracks I hear on so many videos. Not to mention the over-done commentaries and celebrations. Your video did a superb job of reliving the actual experience.
Great video, thanks for sharing it.
Nicely executed in all respects
That was a wonderful video nothing like the fist pumping and laughing we see on t.v. Thanks for taking us along with you.
Awesome job....thanks for sharing!!
Great Video! Thanks for sharing your Hunts! :archer:
Very nice! So enjoyable on our big tv. These semi raw vids are so much more entertaining! I spend hours on ipad and youtube watching these.
I kinda cooled off on taking my vid gear after lots of Oct trips.
This gives me inspiration to hit it again!
Nice work!
Thank you!!
Merry Christmas and God bless,Mudd
OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Really cool. Enjoyed it very much!
Awesome video...!!
How the heck did I miss this. Awesome video Ryan. Much funner (if it's not a word, it is now) from the ground, isn't it?
Outstanding! Love the style. Didn't need any talking or music, just the sounds and footage of the hunt.

Dude, when are we gonna see some feature length videos from you? That was great, congrats on the beautiful Canadian buck! :notworthy: :clapper:
That's great, congrats!
Great Footage! And from the ground! Congrats
That's incredible! Very well done. That's an amazing harvest sequence!
Great job on the video, man! I can't tell from watching if you got a deflection or if you led him that much. Either way it got the job done. My heart would have been thumping out of my chest to be at that range with a big whitetail on the ground. Well done!
