Anyone know where I can get ahold of a used good condition sheepeater static recurve ?? Any info would be greatly appreciated that was the bow that got away
These bows are difficult to come by. I wanted to order a new one but there is a 6 month to 1 year wait. I think that there is one in stock on their website. If you are looking for a short static tip like that check out Timberghost bows.
This might be your lucky day.. I have a nice one that I was thinking about letting go.. Pm me if you want info...
Are you looking for a righthanded or a lefty ??
Right handed is what I'm looking for
Saw two on an actual auction site, sold as Native American bows go for just over $100.00.
Google is your friend!
You should probably be posting this on the classifieds. What weight range are you looking for?
Anywhere from 40#-80#
Hold off on the sheepeater and buy a a quiver for your bear!!!!
Check your p.m. file.
i havent forgotten the quiver haha im looking to trade a bow for a bow rght now
Does Dryad bows have something to do with these bows now?
another p.m.
yes they do
They are the builders now.
We dissolved the partnership with Black Mountain 8 months ago. I don't think Brent is building any of the bows now and don't know if he will in the future. He does have the presses.
Thanks,
Mike
Good luck in your quest! No way I'm letting mine go, especially if they are no longer being made. I love it!
nice little static recurve iv got a commanche static
I just put a used lefty Sheepeater Spirit on the classifieds. I'm going to get rid of some of the bows that are laying around.
Check it out.

I am right handed unfortantly :/
Just sent you a PM!
pm returned sir
There is a very nice one on the Classifieds now.
Mike
If I only had the money can only trade at the time really
I have one and find it a bit more tempermental to control due to it's length, but it is plenty quick enough and I haven't found one better to shoot out of a pop up blind. I think I'll be keeping it.
Shouldn't this WTB or WTT stuff be in the classified forum?
My dad, Brent, is the original designer and builder of the sheepeater bow. He has stopped making them but I will be taking over for him later this year and putting them back into production. Please feel free to email me with any questions. Thank you.
Drew
Why are you going from 60" bows to this short little powerhouse? Have you shot one?
Killdeer
Kill, I grew up shooting Brackenberry's, Hill's, Sheepeater's and most recently an old Herters that I pulled off the rack. I can say with the utmost certainty that the Sheepeater is the fastest, most forgiving, and quietest bow that I have shot. Also, being so short and maneuverable I can't find a reason a person wouldn't shoot one. Maybe I am biased though.
