Hey guys, will an acusharp tool work on single bev. grizzlys?
I ran one thru a few times and it seems to be fairly sharp, but I don't wanna ruin the head...
Your thoughts?
Any of the accusharps I have tried have the cutters at the wrong angle and will turn a SB to a twin-if the edge was dull before it will make the blade sharp, but defeating the purpose of the SB to begin with.
Nothing works like a file to raise the burr on those grizzlies. I am sharpening challenged and can have one shaving in 15 minutes. Some good videos on you tube.
Accusharp also has a single bevel sharpener for scissors that may work. I've only used mine on scissors, but it worked great!
I've heard that it works if you orient the sharpener according. I've got both, let me go try it...
It seems to work ok. Kinda have to fanagel the angles to get contact and keep the back side flat and not hit the ferule but I was able to make it work. Don't know that I would run out and buy either for each other but it looks like it'll work if you already have both. Not sure that'll make sense but it does in my head.
thnx all
I saw posted here on TG an accusharp for single bevel mower blades. Whoever posted said it made broadheads really sharp.
