Title: New workhorse (Stalker stickbow)
Post by: RD808 on November 27, 2013, 08:54:00 PM
The other day, I ended up working a 10.5 hour day.  Driving home from work I was tired and not in a happy mood.  But when I arrived at home I seen a "goodie" has been left at my door.  OH WHAT COULD IT BE??  My stalker stickbow!!!!

Specs: Coyote FXT 60"  50# @28, I draw to 25.5

South makes some great bows...not only do they look good but they perform amazing also!

For the wood you might have to ask Ryan S...or South, I dont favor any particular wood so I let south decide.  It is going to be used as a hunting bow 90% of the time so it will be scratched and what not.

The first night I got them, only shot at 10 yards in the garage.  Second day I went out and shot a group at 20 yards and then one at 28.  Lets just say, ill skip the paper tuning for this bow. Its not Perfect but it is good enough till I find an arrow to go with this bow.  The only disappointment I have in this bow is... I didnt order one when I started trad archery

I love the looks of that one. The only thing I see wrong with that bow is that you have to hold it in the wrong hand!

I have "Hope" from 2011 and it is one sweet shooter!    :archer2:

Congrats on your new bow!

WOW!

I really dig the contrast on the front!!! I like the wood combo too. The finish he puts on these bows and the woods South chooses are in my opinion excellent for hunting.

Enjoy!!! Happy hunting and shoot the fire out of it!!!

Up date on the wood.

Walnut and shedua in the handle, walnut and koa in the limbs.

Thought I would use this for Hunting only but seems as if I can shoot it just as good, if not better than the ILF...so I guess its now my go to Target bow!

Man... I have serious bow envy!  That is a manly bow.  I know bows, like ships and storms, are usually referred to in the feminine... but that's a masculine bow.  Congrats
