Post by: frassettor on September 11, 2007, 11:54:00 AM
Hi guys,

Was reading another thread about using cork as face paint, Im looking to sit in my ground blind this weekend, and was wondering how to make it.

Take the cork from a wine bottle and burn the end.  Let it cool just a bit before application.  Works well for me.

take a piece of cork, real cork (not  plastic), burn the end of it, let it cool off then rub it on the face & hands.  You're done.  Hardest part may be finding a cork.  Like old fishing floats.

luck to ya, Bill

Cork is available in craft stoes such as Michaels. I saw it there the other day while shopping.

I asked my wife to get me some cork from a craft store she was going to. I guess I should've told her I only need apiece or two. Well she came back with 3 bags. I now have enough cork to use till I die.  :D
