Title: First Trad Deer

Today I shot my first deer with with traditional gear. I had a little extra time around lunch and decided to try a stand my son and I put out last week. I connected on a nice doe shortly after getting settled. Complete pass through and she didnt even feel it. Walked 10steps and fell over.

Nice work.... I remember the "close are optional" days with my kids.   Actually I miss them.   My girls are way too INTO their clothes these days.   Congrats

i had to do a double take on the pic of you and your son. from the lack of clothes to the nappy blonde hair to the monster tan line he could be my son's twin! i'll have to see if i can find a pic.  oh and congrats on the deer!

Thought the archer was a cherub, but he's a bit the thin side for that, but oh man what a bow he's a totin'!!! Good thing he ain't a cherub...that arrow would HURT  ;)

CONGRATS!! Thats the way to do it, Start 'Em Young!! I have a 5 yr. old Granddaughter that would rather go out back and shoot her New Christmas Longbow, than anything else!! Bless Their Hearts!!
