Going to be getting a Kanati!!!!!! here soon and am wanting to cook up some sweet arrows for it!
Being in Montana, my plan next year is to take it bear, antelope, mule deer and elk hunting, with some small game mixed in as well.
I don't care much about speed but do want a quiet bow that delivers an arrow with authority.
Bow will be 58" & 58# @28. Looking at Easton FMJ arrows, the all black ones. I will use the 75 grain insert, and broadhead weight will be determined by spine requirements.
My question is-which spine FMJ should work? I really REALLY like VPA 3 blade heads (bear, deer and antelope) and the new Grizzly 185 single bevel heads (elk/moose someday)
If anybody has pictures of their FMJ/tradbow combo I would love to see it!!!

I might also chase after some turkeys if I can find any here in Montana that are fairly close, and the Simmons broadheads are just the ticket for them I believe.

I shoot FMJ 340's with 125 NAP Hellrazors. How does one post photos here?

Pics can be posted through photobucket

Should I go with 340's with the heavier insert and 150 grain and up broadheads?

My bow is 58"s and #58. I shoot FMJ 400's with a 200 gr. point (VPA) and regular insert. Darts!!!

Is that the TT longbow or recurve? The Kanati is cut to center from what Jason said

I have to make a photobucket account.
My 340's with regular insert and the 125 NAP's shot through my Sammick recurve are absolute MX missiles
