I just returned from a Hog Hunt at Wild Things. Outstanding accomodations and the land is tore up with Hog sign. Andrew and his staff go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience. I will be going back in the future.
I had some close encounters, but could not get a clear shot. Had a couple porkers hole up in a canal about 5 yards out and they would not cooperate with my game plan and give me a shot. The nerve! Saw some good size boars as well.
Here are some pics:
The new digs. A world better than the trailer!

Enjoyed those pictures!!! Got some more?
Sounds like a good trip Jack!
A buddy and I are heading there in March. Looking forward to it, thanks for the pics
Holy cow, that is the first picture of the "bunk house" I've seen in a long time. That really did turn out nice. Glad to hear you left pigs for us, sorry you left all of them.
Thom
I visited Andrew on Labor Day weekend and the pavillion was just framed up at that point. The carpenters were working in mid 90's temps, high humidity, and hoardes of mosquitos. They certainly did a great job! I can't wait to see it again in March!
I don't think anyone will miss the old trailer much. :)
It looks great. I'll be down there soon -- I'm looking forward to seeing the new set up first-hand.
WOW!
I showed my wife the first pic of the cabin. Big mistake, Now she wants to remodel our downstairs!!
Thanks for the pics. Andrew has hit a home run.
Allen- It was a great trip! I hope that you can make the journey with me next time.
Todd- I will post some more pics this evening.
Bud- Andrew has indeed hit a home run!
Sounds like a great trip and appears to be a wonderful place to stay.
Subsonic,
Thanks for the pics and look forward to seeing more! :goldtooth:
Good stuff!
I agree with Bob. Please post more pictures.
I also agree that Harry the Wonder Dog needs a lot of work while we are there for the Hog Wild weekend.

I'm getn' stoked to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the pics!!
Looks good except for the plates of beans. If the fellas that Im going down there with get that in their digestive systems it could spell disaster.
LOL, Izz, that brings up the picture in my mind from "Blazing Saddles" with the fellers sitting around the campfire eating beans.
