Actually it was poor Glen Dale, my pet 3D target!
Happened last nite, no suspects have been located!

What kind of mauler would attack a 150" buck??? :scared:
Here is the fatal wound...

Still looking for the attacker.. :D
Thats hilarious :biglaugh:
Love this time of year!
thanks for sharing....

Glenn
Oh "Deer"
He just may deserve the death penalty!
I don't want to be accused of "profiling," but I'd be looking for a perp who is a middle-aged or older male, with a large mass of antler attached to his head and a nasty attitude... :saywhat:
looks like it's time to reassemble it and sit close by with a very sharp stick lol
"looks like it's time to reassemble it and sit close by with a very sharp stick lol"
X2....
That target just might be a meat maker Kenny!!!
:campfire:
Just imagine what the perp. thought just after the attack...
He will probably be easy to spot, strutting around with his neck bulging and chest poked out!
Probably done by a little six-pointer after stopping by the local sugar beet patch.
Same thing happened to my Glen Del target.
Kenny, probably the 8 I shot last year looking for his antlers. Hope he hangs around another couple months. I'd like to have another little "meeting" with him. :goldtooth:
You should put up a camera and see if whatever did it comes back. Ha Ha.
This blows my mind. Mine was attacked too.
Maybe I should make a blind close by and hunt it. I only have 20 acres but do see a lot of bucks cruising thru.
You might want to put a camera on that location....
My parents had their concrete deer lawn ornament attacked one time. I bet he was a little surprised when he made contact with that. Ended up knocking it over and the head broke off.
They usually will let targets alone if you take the antlers off.
I had my Glen Dale attacked while living in Northern VA. It busted it up badly enough that it broke the little connector on the top. Luckily, duct tape fixes everything and a long strip of it down his back kept him all together. That sounds like a buck that will come to some rattling. Good luck.
My 3-D targets usually get attacked by Bears and Bobcats.
THATS A CLASSIC!!! keep us posted on the randsacker!!
:biglaugh:
I lost the antlers off my 3D target and he gets mounted by a buck almost every year. Poor guy.
:biglaugh:
Better get a bigger bow !!!
I bet one of the Charlie's snuck in and did that.....lol!
I had a coyote target that got mauled by a large bear. found bite marks in what was left of his head. I would post a trail cam on it and get video---might get a funny video out of it.
A friend put a camera near his buck target because of similar findings. But, that wasn't what the buck was caught doing to the target....
Just saying
ChuckC
I had that happen once I thought the neighbor kids were messing around at first. Way cool
:biglaugh:
TA
I'll bet the "perp" was a little guy who is strutting his stuff after destroying that 150" buck!!!!
Probably saw he was weak in the hips!! LOL
Kenny leave the rack off and add some doe pee to the back end and see if he gets violated...LOL
Don't think he has the legs or hips for that!!
A mule deer got one of my 3Ds a couple of years ago. Well maybe it was the 'Buck fever' I put on it just to see what would happen.... mistake.
SO freakin funny
Looks like a good spot to set up a Cam
I had that happen once in my back yard, and I live in town.
Had mine attacked 3 different times. Finally put up a trail cam. Turned out to be a small 4-pointer who keep coming back to beat on the (apparently) stupid and docile 8 point buck (3-d target).
I'd love to see what happened to the perp when he tried some of that on a real 8-pointer :biglaugh: !!!
Had that happen at our cabin on a glendal. Right at mid day.
Kenny, Your problem is you are hunting in the woods. LOL, You could just sit in the Lazy Boy!
I've had magnolia trees attacked in my yard at this time of year - I guess the leaves in the wind sound like a challenge. Not at all surprised to see a target targeted.
