Spent every chance I had this weekend out in the woods. witnessed three chasing sequences. All small bucks doing the pushing. Largest I saw were three 120" ers. The special time is very close if not happening now.

Great photos, thanks for sharing.
So that's what a deer looks like. Man, I have hunted in SE Texas for 6 weeks and haven't seen the first deer. Thanks for posting. Best of luck.
I remember those days.....Great pics TJ.
I bet it is happening now down by you folks. Good luck.
Great pics, TJ!!! A special time, indeed.
good stuff TJ. good luck.RC
You seem to be confused. You called 120"ers small. In north La, 120" is what you get on a nice 4-5 year old if you're lucky. Of course I hunt in some pretty nutrient poor sand hills. Folks along the river bottoms do a little better. Nice pictures and good luck over the next couple of weeks. Thanks for sharing.
nice pics thxs for sharing!!wheres that stud you had trail pics of last week?wuuuuuu weeeee hes a booner!!!
what's the bow in your photos tom?
great photos
Awesome photos TJ!!!!! I'm witnessing the same thing here. Today was the first day in a week I didn't see any chasing. A lone mature deer cruising was my only sighting today.
Fight em fair, Trap
Awesome TJ! I hope that monster shows up for you!
That's cool TJ! Like rastaman said, I hope you get a crack at that bruiser you posted the pic of the other day!

Jesse, that's my Zipper SXT.
Things are getting cranked up in southern WV as well. Yesterday morning I saw about a 130" 8-pointer cruising and right at dark had a little 5-pointer harassing a mature doe. Wish I could have about a week off from work!
Thanks TJ
I hope to hit the woods often this week, here's hoping!
Tom,
Great pictures, thanks for sharing.
Man I have zero rut activity going on here in my part of KY! Last year had 2 scrape lines open from mid Oct.-Jan, 50 scrapes, 2x that many rubs. Same area this year only 2big rubs just made. I have hit all my honey holes, nothing. I am off all week hunting, all day, yesterday saw 15 does, and a #90,3" spike. Am on stand now, hunted 3 hours this morning, 2-6pm tonight!
Exciting stuff! Great pics!
