Saw my first horn today at noon. It was a nice 3year old 8pt. about 125"
He was across the road from the farm I hunt, about 1/4 mile from my stand.
When I got to my stand tonight, I noticed he had been a little closer at some point. About 8 yds away.
(the overlay below the shelf is almost 6" long)

Look forward to seeing the harvest pics!
-
Good luck ! That's a big track.

If that beautiful bow can take the deer matching that big track, you will have a pretty fair hunting season to tell us about.
-
Quarry? Check! Weapon? Check!
Good luck getting the meat!
-
Go get him Chuck!

That is a nice track Chuck but I don't think it compares to the beauty of that bow!
Looking forward to seeing pictures when you get him.
Good luck!

Chuck
Is that your ambush?.
-
I sure hope you connect Chuck.
I see the same black phase squirrel each time I go out and I'm pretty sure I saw a fox sneaking through the brush about 40 yards out tonight, but nothing resembling a deer.
-
Nice bow Chuck! Hope you get use it on that buck!

Keep after him!
Good luck.

Looks like that T Rex is missing a toe. He's a big one.

Thank you all for the well wishing and the compliments. He has been with in 8-10 yards of my best stand, with in 20 yards of my front door, and all over the fields around my place.
I will try.
The bow is off my Shrew form. It is bamboo with brown glass and burgundy Dymondwood. 56" 49@29
With a heavy heart I will finish this season with a bow made for me by a dear friend who lost his battle with cancer yesterday.
