I was trying to find out if there is a record for the most pope and young whitetails with traditional bows?
Up.

The Compton Archives would be the place to look I think.
Oops! Compton's is Compton's. Pope and Young is Pope and Young. Does Pope and Young have a category for Traditional?
Pope & Young does not have a "category" for traditional. However, they do have a record book of animals taken with traditional bows. In fact a second edition of the P&Y traditional book has just been released.
Thanks for the info guys! wonder where I can get my hands on that book? And I wonder what the largest whitetail taken with Traditional equipment is? I am just curious, I am not a trophy hunt, but I have taken two P&Y whitetails whith my training wheels, but now that i took them off, I want to try with my recurve.
I think you could figure it out though P&Y does not keep such records.
the largest is Mel Johnsons 1965 world record
Taken with a recurve
I'm betting it will be at least a couple of dozen, maybe approaching 50...
There's lots of good hunters in good locations --
