I just bought one of the Harbor Freight Cut-Off Saws to cut carbon shafts. It uses a 2" diameter blade. I found some blades in various websites. Some are .032 thick, some .062 and even thicker. Can you tradgangers recommend the best blade thickness for this saw. I think the abrasive type blades are what I need. Thanks, Jim.
Jim,
I have been using the Harbor Freight mini cutoff saw for several years. I made a jig by mounting it on a board. I just had to replace the blade. I could not find any locally but I did find these on e-bay:
Size is 2", 3/8 arbor, long lasting,Thickness: 1/32
Here is the link or do a search on "Abrasive Cut-Off Wheel Arrow Saw Blade":

I just used them on some Carbon Express Heritage shafts and they work great.
