Thanks to this TG and the comments here, I just booked a hunt with TrueSouth to chase piggies next feb. I have to have something to do while visiting the in laws in Fort Myers! :readit:
Hopefully I'll have some good pics to post here.
I'll be taking my new ThunderChild that Big Jim built for me. (that hasn't scored on anything bigger than a chicken so far)(My wife wanted chicken for supper, and the "extra" rooster we had was getting a little too cocky :D ) ( sorry I didn't post pics of my trophy kill!)
Tom,
You'll love it! My wife and I have hunted with Jim and Irv a few times from NH and are going back again in March. P.S. I shoot 1 of Big Jim's TCs also. Please feel free PM or call if you'ld like more info about our hunts.
Best regards,
Todd
I'll be looking forward to meeting and hunting with you, Tom.
Any questions, just get in touch with me or Jim.
Thanks again,

You gotta watch out for Jims buddy!!!!! :smileystooges: You'll have a blast. I'm going to try to make it down there this winter, but not 100% on it.
Good luck you will have a good hunt with Jim , he is top notch
I'm really looking forward to this hunt, and meeting Irv, but,.... it's almost as bad as ordering a bow!
Now I have to wait till february. ( sigh) LOL.
I'll have time to practice a little and maybe be able to hit something by then. ;)
Thanks for the kind words fellas.
I'm looking forward to seeing you again Todd, I hope you make it down again, Sean. Glad you had a good time too, Andrew.
Jim and I are getting our rewards from meeting all of the fine tradgangers out there.
I think we've made some real positive changes this year. We've done some much needed mowing. We will build some permanent ground blinds this year. We've relocated some hunt sites to keep the hogs on the move. We've got miles of canal bowfishing now, and Jim is looking into some proven Hutchinson Island/Indian River fishing spots.
We have hogs hitting all three of our properties and are hoping to acquire another nearby property.
Didn't mean to hijack your thread, Tom.
Things are looking good for 2014!

No problem, hijack all you want!
The bow fishing has me intrigued, Jim said he has some set ups I might be able to use. Sounds like fun! It is something I''ve not done before.
I will have some questions as we get closer to the time. I'm getting hungry for wild pork already (again). ( save me a couple of tasty ones ;-)
Tom,
Looking forward to hunting with you. My son and I are heading to the properties this weekend to make sure everything is ship shape.
I will post some trail cam pics next week. There are several really big boars around and plenty of meat hogs. We are going to hang a stand in a place we call "the jungle", it has an absurd amount of pig sign, you actually have to watch where you step there's so much scat around!
Thanks for the kind words guys.
Please LIKE US on Facebook and check out our Youtube channel, too.
Bowfishing! I can't tell you how many times we've been bowfishing (after the morning hunt) checked the time and thought, wow, it's almost time to go to the stands!
Time sure does fly stalking the banks shooting arrows at fish.
Looking forward to hunting with Jim and Irv and having a steak and cold adult beverage with them at Cowboys at our upcoming hunt next Spring!
We will have some fun for sure, Bob.
And we will drink a toast to CJ.
I'm glad you guys got your schedule ills all worked out and it sounds like you are going to have quite the southern touring/hunting adventure.
I can tell you Jim and I will work hard to get our place in tip top shape for you.
We both know the value of rotating the properties so they can all get their proper rest.
We've found it's tough enough battling the hog's superior sense of smell, the moon effect, and the weather but hunting pressure is probably the biggest variable and the easiest to control.
It's the reason we like clients to book early like you guys did.
Looking forward to meeting you fellows and providing a good experience for you.
Any questions, prior to arrival, just let us know.
BTW...Jim has a couple bowfishing rigs and I have an old Martin recurve and an old Parker compound, both rigged and ready to go.
