A few days back I mentioned I had a Wing Archery recurve that belonged to my grandfather. I havent messed with it in 15 years, since I took an archery class in college. So I strung it up with a flemish twist string and noticed that it draws very nice. I dont know the weight as the writing has been worn off the riser but I would guess #40. I think it will make a nice starter for my wife who wants to learn archery. Its in great shape, limbs are straight and aside form a few dings and scratches, its pretty nice.
Sounds like a good plan, 40 lbs ain't bad for deer either...
My wife shoots a beautiful Ski era Red Wing Hunter. I have been wanting to give it some woods time but don't want to scratch it up. They are great shooting bows.
Cool!
