On Friday, I built a 10 strand, XS2 Flemish string for my new Whip. I padded the loops to 16 strands and installed a half set of Hush Puppies. It is insanely quiet!
Today I had a chance to do some shooting and tuning. I settled on a 7 1/4" brace and the nock is at 5/8".

This group is from about 30 yards. Man, I am loving this bow!
Wish i could hit em like that! Nice shoot'n!
I've found your measurements to be very close to mine as well....7 3/8" brace and 1/2" to 5/8" nock height
Nice shooting.
Thanks Guys! TxAg, do you stick with the stock rest on yours. Mine is awfully loud on the draw. Especially with the new Heritage shafts.
It depends on the material. Sometimes Dan will mix it based on the look of the bow/ grip etc.
I've come to like soft velcro for the rest and calf hair for the strike plate.

That's exactly the same brace and nock point I ended up with on my whip. :bigsmyl:
Out of curiosity, what length are your arrows? I am in the same ballpark with a 62" whip. Having trouble getting gt 400s to take 175s. Thanks
Centex, they are 31" with the standard insert.
Seth..real nice..you done great
