some rf/df bows show the rf/df even when strung and some don't, I hve a rf/df longbow and it looks like a regular D longbow when strung, I see pics of other rf/df bows and the rf/df is seen easly when strung. Dose this mean anything

Depends on the amount r/d. The ones that still show some do tend to be faster and have more preload.

Also depends on how much taper is in the lams.  Two bows on my rack right now have near identical unstrung profiles.  One retains the r/d look while strung, the other has nearly a D shape.
