Title: First snowfall
Post by: Day Dreamer on October 24, 2013, 09:47:00 PM
Made it out for an evening hunt in northeast Ohio. No deer were taken on this outing. Wearing wool really made a difference with the wet snow.

Doesn't seem right having to deal with snow and cold temps this soon.

Looks like a jack-knifed Great Northern you got there?

Huh? This was Sept 27th, a few flakes had fallen overnight. Kind of messed up my elk hunting.

Centaur:

"a few flakes had fallen overnight" From a Southerner, looks like a bit more than a "Few Flakes" to me.

That sure is pretty but man, it looks cold to me.  We see snow about every 3-4 years and then only about 2-5".  We're still swatt'in mosquitos down here.  Best of luck to ya.
