Title: Shrew Bow
Post by: Art Oneshot on October 23, 2013, 03:21:00 PM
Well, I'm a lucky guy. I got a new Shrew.  So, glade Ron is back in action with his bows.

I had a Shrew many years ago and because of a situation had to sell it.  It was one of the few bows I've owned I can say truly hit where I looked.

And now I have another one.  5 squirrels in 7 shots Sunday morning. Sorry I didn't have a camera with me.

That's awesome!  Been a tough year hunting the heavily pressured Spooky Colorado Ninja Squirrel.

By the way, Art--a new quiver from you is the only thing left to get for my dad to have him shooting in style  :)

Wow, nice shooting Art.  I used to know them as tree rats/rat's in tuxedo's, but ever since Ron LaClair made us squirrels with gravy and mashed potatoes at camp one year, I refer to them as gourmet dining.

My Super Shrew is the one bow I can pick up and shoot cold without a warmup and know that I'm going to be on target.

Well, let me be a bit more honest...I have a load of Fox Squirrels on my farm....they're pretty big, so it ain't like shooting those pesky little grays.

Art...freeze those squirrels and ship them up to ShrewHaven, so Ron can work his kitchen magic on them. Sorry Art, it's required.....read the fine print in your Shrew contract.....Section 8, line 9 reads "All squirrels killed with this bow must be shipped to Ron so the Shrew Haven Crew can eat them"

Rules are rules my friend.....   :bigsmyl:

I think Ron trains these bows before he ships them out,so all you have to do is shoot them !!!!!
