Looks like next week Im taking some time off here in Ohio
I have a doe decoy but I can covert to a buck with a glue gun and some antlers.
Whats your opinion for next week.

Ive seen some sparring happening on trail cam footage.
timing is everything. if its to early in the season i have had deer spook at a decoy. in my experience large fields or large open areas are key for decoying. you can get deer to investigate your decoy. use grunts and light rattleing to draw them closer to you. if the deer cannot see your decoy call or rattle for them to come closer and look.
i have had old smart does come in and investigate and stomp and blow for a very long time around my stand. screws up the entire sit.
I do better with mine as buck decoy. Doesn't work everytime, but man oh man when it does work it sure gets the old heart pumping.
