Not real sure if this belongs on Pow Wow or not, but here goes: I have several Neet Traditional Shooting Gloves. Love Them, BUT as with all things, they wear out, get grooves in them, etc. I have some Nylon Webbing that I wondered about putting on the Finger Pads. It wont groove, its pretty slick, and I just wondered if any other Frugal-Type Archers out there have any experience with this? Thought about Gluing it on the Pads, then Sewing some thicker Leather over it, or just Replacing the Grooved Pads and Gluing/Sewing the Nylon onto the Pads. Any and All Suggestions would be Greatly Appreciated!!
The Next Step is a New Howard Hill Shooting Glove, but Financially, the methods described above are my Immediate Option!
Thank You All!! God Bless You All!!
Sounds like the "Dura-glove" the 3Rivers sells. The fingers are covered with Cordura nylon. Sorry I can't help you,as to how to get it to stay on...
But, it sounds like a heck of an idea!!!!!
Shakes, there is a fella that use to be here thats makes tabs with the stuff you're talking about. I understand they're very slick and seem to be a good sub for leather. Give it a try. You don't have much to lose. Lot's of luck with it.
Thanks Folks!! I am not real wild about tabs, I have several and they shoot just fine. 3 Finger Cavalier thats just slicker than Owl Snot :scared:  and I get awsome realeses, but I am a Glove Fan. I WILL make do with what I have, thats for sure!! Better a Tab that Works well, than Nothing, right?? I just wondered if I could salvage my Favorite Glove or not. I may experiment, like you said, I got nothing to lose, right? hahaha
