For a hunting bow, and why?
Zipper riser because I love the grip. Dryad/ACS ILF longbow limbs. Smooth, quick and quiet.
I would have bought your 62 inch Super Shrew if I had not already bought four bows this year...I like the light weight in hand and the simplicity of a longbow

Good to hear from you Dave. Have you tagged anything yet this year

Das riser / dryad ACS RC limbs very easy on the draw, fast, quiet. Good adjustable hunting rig.
I prefer one piece bows because I do not like the weight of three piece or ilf risers.
I need to give up hunting those smart deer and find a foolish one...there is one mule deer doe that just keeps eluding me...I think she would field dress as much as 175 pounds...I have until the end of November so not gonna panic just yet

I have grown very fond of my BW 2 piece Longbow. The bow will fit in my back quiver and does not take up much room while traveling. I seriously doubt that I'll ever own another one piece bow.
Go get em Brother DDave!!!
My Howard Hills! Why, because I shoot them better than anything else and I love the simplicity. :campfire:

I have both 1 PC and 3 PC. Originally I hunted with a 1 PC 60" Pronghorn longbow and a 1 piece 60" Kota recurve. I decided to go to a take down for backing packing for elk.
I picked up a 3 PC pronghorn and a 3 PC black tail and liked them, so for simplicity just stayed with them. I actually like the slightly higher weight of the take downs. I went one step further (weight-wise). and have gotten used to bow quivers now as well.
I like the 3 pce bows the best because i can put them in my suit case and travel.
I prefer the Sasquatch 60" hybrid long bow for hunting. it slides through thick cover very nicely, it can be shot at any amount of cant when it's set up to be shot off the shelf.....It's quiet, flat shooting, powerful, and deadly....

68" Leon Stewart Slammer 3pc. Nice riser mass and long length for stability. Quiet as a Hill bow. Fast and flat shooting as heck. Most easy to tune and shoot bow I've owned and I have some 'fancy' ones. Leon is a wizard.
My Sarrels Blueridge 3-piece longbow is my favorite. It just feels right in my hands like no other bow ever has!

These are my favorite shooters. 62" HH Ruffed Grouse, 64" Zebra War Eagle, 70" Zebra Grevy, and a 17" Titan riser with Samick BF Extreme mediums
