Below are pics of a new to me Stewart Slammer longbow. It's a one piece, 64", 47#@28" and is a sweet shooting longbow!

Very nice Bill. The slammer is the last bow I really want to try before I settle on a favorite.
Joel,
Thanks! I now have two favorite bows at the house. The Slammer and a Morrison Cheyenne with Max 1 carbon/foam core limbs. They are very different bows, but share some common traits, fast, quiet and smooth!
Bill
Love those belly lams, she is purty!
Caleb,
Olive Ash Burl is about as pretty as lams can get, other than maybe Carpathian Elm Burl!
Bill
Very nice Bill!
Bill, I have a slammer and LOVE it, love the lams on the belly and back, you got a looker!
Nice.
I love the light belly and dark back. She's a beauty.
Oh yeah Bill, those belly lams are outta sight! Congratulations.
Now that's a pretty bow!

You CANT go wrong with a Slammer !!!!
very nice !
I can't see the pics in my initial post. I also can't see them on the Photobucket website. Can anyone else see them above? If not, any idea as to why?
Bill
Okay, I've edited and renamed the pics and now I can see them on TG and in Photobucket!

I went to The Archery Shop yesterday to shoot my Slammer with a new LRU string built by Allen and shot 5 or 6 different arrows out of it. The one arrow that was head and shoulders above the rest in consistency of flight and accuracy was a Beman Matrix 460. The only problem with it is that at full draw the back of the point is right at the knuckle on my index finger of my bow hand.
So, I've had Budro order a dozen XX75 Camo 2213 arrows for me with bright fletching and bright nocks. The 2213 has a spine of .460 just like the Beman Matrix arrow I was shooting. I'm going to start with the arrows cut to 30", opposed to the 28" for the Beman Matrix, and adjust from there. I might add that Allen builds a very nice string, IMHO!
Bill
Very nice!
Awesome Stewart they are one of the best! My favorite!
Leons bows are real performers. Congrats!
