I`ve come up with a Bear Kodiak in a trade. The bow is in very good condition and through some digging I have found it to have been built in 1965. My question is , this is only a 35# pull bow. Can I use it for deer hunting ? Anything you can tell me would be great, as I am just getting started.
Tell us more. . . When you shoot, what is your draw length ? What weight arrow / head are you thinking of using ? How well can you shoot ?
Lots to know and learn.

If you have a 28 inch draw or greater and set it up with the appropriate arrow of 350 grains to 400 grains, 35 lbs would about lightest you would want to go but would be fine for deer. I don't believe there is a minimum bow weight there in MO but you should double check to make sure you are legal. Also I second what ChuckC said, there are a lot of variables.
35 will get it done but it is getting to the minimum of power so keep your shots close - like 10yrds or less - and make sure your set up is tuned well with sharp COC broadheads.
