I am a lil buck magnet, I seem to have em around all the time. So I thought I might take a few pics and share em. I'm fortunate to live where we have decent sized whitetails, and I love to hunt em so I don't tag the first buck by....
This one came by at about 8 yards past a low stand in a pinoak about 9' off the ground. Good cover tho....

Next deer by was a huge doe, a fawn ,and another nice doe, I really wanted to tag her, but something was violently thrashing brush about 75 yds out so she walked.....
either his nose was stuffed up or your scent system is working real well lol.lil bucks grow up to be biguns.
The stand is in the south end of a big field that comes to a point. Timber on south. The wind lifts over the timber, and you are pretty much good on any deer downwind of you.
The xl doe went on past and then I saw the thrasher. Good 8 point, but I couldn't get my binos out to check him well, still had does at 10 yds. She had peed before she she came in timber, and he checked it and lip curled. Then she blew about 6 times evidently she picked up something, and I noticed the wind had stopped. I suppose since the sun was just showing good, the thermals drew my scent toward the creek and she got a bit. Here he is at 35 yards, and he circled around after ol loudmouth settled down....

Cool photos!
Kenny, love it! Looks like the wood vs carbon battle was won by wood.
:bigsmyl:
Mike, actually cx heritage for this bow. BTW I have 2 spikes crunching acorns right under me now! LOL :biglaugh:
Must be that sweet recurve you built?
Yep, it likes the carbons, probably because it isn't cut past center, and the small diameter works well there. Got some pics of the next 2 lil bucks soon! LOL
shoot bud as much as i like takin alpha does out dunno if i could do so with a buck thrashing bushes within earshot.you'll get another crack at her i bet keep after em
Good job Kenny. I like low stands as well. I hung one yesterday that was just high enough to see over the bushes in front of me by the corn field. It's about 8' to the platform.
Yep, I'm not worried, we still have meat in freezer. Now, when Momma says WE NEED HAMBURGER , then I get really serious!! LOL
Tom, low is good if you got the cover to deal with it!

Keep 'em coming because those are the only deer I have seen all season. At least you are seeing something.
The big boy will show soon. Best of luck.
