I couldn't not learn anymore. Not fletching an arrow was just ridiculous, so I finally broke down and learned.
4runr found me a Martin fletcher with a RW and Straight clamp. I bought 400 RW feathers off of Jacobsladder at an excellent price. Onestringer was kind enough to give me a roll of fletch tape. CLS sent me some Axis shafts already crested. Huntrdfk was kind enough to give me some tips on using it when he visited this week.
Thanks to all of these fellows.
I installed the 100 grain inserts and went to work. These are the results and they weigh about 345 without a point.

'Bout time you learned. Next trick is either woodies or grinding your own wild turkey feathers....oh, its a slippery slope.....
SOS is right. Might even be some cane arrers in your future.
SNAZZY VAMAN! ><>
I've got 50 or 60 finished woodies in the basement right now and even a few flint heads to haft on a couple. The cane I sent to Danny Rowan.
Good workmanship...enjoy the learning process and like SOS and BooBender said..keep going.
David,Classy, just down right Classy.

Great! Funny, I'm reading this while being up late fletching my first six self crested arrows for a 3D shoot tomorrow. Lol!
