Title: TradGang little known Fact #2
Post by: Terry Green on October 07, 2013, 07:22:00 PM
Hardware Requirements  - Two state-of-the-art servers/hot (Live TradGang) and Spare (emergency back up and St Jude's) - A new server is required at least every 3 years.

We grew so fast during one 3 year period we had to buy new servers every year. (Main issue was trying to stop the St Jude's Auction from crashing like it was during final bids and leaving a lot of money on the table for the kids)

Heck know...barley knew how to turn one on....thankfully I took typing in high school...never knew it would come it so handy.

It is the neatest thing to me......something so high tech brings so many "simple" outdoors men together.

I truly enjoy this place. Thanks Terry, Rob, and all the rest!

There's absolutely no better place to get good solid information on any traditional archery subject.
You two guys have done and continue to do a great job with this site. I know it's a lot of work and I thank you both.

You took typing in high school. Should be a requirement these days.

I tried to get my son to do that as I was pecking away, he had the chance but he wouldn't. Got mine in the end (kind of) when he told me later that he should have listened.
The unseen part of this site must be like having another job, without the money part.

Thanks for everything.

Whatever hardware you are using the site runs great.  No doubt a combination of computer power and human oversight...

Yep...Rob has worked WELL below minumum wage for sure....we had no idea what was in store as far as time wise when we turned it on.

We were just trying to keep the bull in the barn to start with...now we are trying to just keep it in the pasture!!!

My hat is off to ALL who make it happen behind the scenes. We just sign on and go to it never seeing what is involved daily. Appreciate it!

Becoming a contributing member is the very least we could do for all the free information and help we get from other members
Thanks Tradgang for being here and everyone who puts all the hard work into making this sight run as smooth as it does.
