Nice buck, how bout the story now.
I shot this 10 point early saturday morning in my home state of PA. It was a tough track job but I had a lot of help from my brother and my uncle. When I shot the deer the deer ran off with my arrow hanging outside its body. I think that's why we found little blood from the place of shot. I hit him a little high and forward. I was using my bob lee heavyweight and gold tip shafts from big jim and protype abowyer whitetail heads (165) grain and sweetland inserts from braveheart archery. I am very excited and this is my second traditional buck harvest and my biggest buck with any weapon. I'm just tickled pink it was harvested with my bob lee recurve. I'll post more pics soon thanks brad
Yes its a broken tine and the biggest body deer I ever seen here in pa. I wished I weighed it because it had to be close to 200 lbs. It was a brutal drag with the heat and he found the thickest stuff to die in and it was an all uphill drag. But i'm still smiling

Nice buck, congrats.
Thanks again guys. I shot this buck around 7:40am he was with another buck. I watched them eat acorns about 50 yards from my stand for about 20 minutes. I thought they were gonna walk away but this buck started to angle my way while the other buck was thrashing a tree wasn't sure if he was rubbing the tree or trying too knock out some acorns. It was weird never seen a deer do that it wasnt a big tree but wasn't a sapling either. By that time I just focused on this deer because he was closing fast, I remember picking my spot when he came through and hitting my anchor and watching my red and white fletching hit my mark. I was a little worried when I seen the arrow sticking out when he ran away. But in the end I was standing over my best buck to date with the people I love and who enjoys this sport of bowhunting as much as I do. Now I got a doe tag to fill so I hope to continue my journey stay tuned.......
Well done! Congrats!
Congratulations!
Great Buck! Congrats :clapper:

Good job sir!!RC
Thanks john49 I started traditional a few years ago I shot a 3d course a few years back up by glendale not sure if I met you there or not. It was inside a building and I had to can't my bow due to the low ceilings lol. Its been a fun ride shooting traditional and it has been tough too. I am the only traditional hunter in my family and all my friends shoot wheel bows, but everyone respects my choice. I'm always looking for some buddies to shoot with so if u want to get together sometime let me know thanks again brad
