Title: good elk hunting clothes for my wife?
Post by: Iowabowhunter on October 05, 2013, 04:04:00 PM
Afternoon TG. My wife mentioned wanting to come elk/muley hunting with me. I am trying to save up for some KUIU or First Lite for myself, what should I consider for her?

Prios, she safari, and the new UA line are all great.

C'mon Jacob...you never seen Tarzan?  Any kind of "Queen of the Jungle" little fringed leather number should work     :D

Kidding...get her some nice neutral colored Patagonia/NorthFace stuuf that she can wear all the time around Bozangelus.

And also, again seriously, get her a nice set of Silk longjohns.

Haha I will run that by her SteveO! Sure is a ton of Granola's here so with the Patagonia gear she would fit right in. Thanks for the heads up guys we will take a look into that stuff

Good merino base layers then whatever neutral color patagucci that turns her on.

I just didn't know if First Lite made stuff small enough for her, I will check into that

How small is she?  I just bought my wife a Smartwool shirt and had no trouble finding sizing for her and she is barely 5" tall.  I'm not at all familiar with First Lite, but don't think you'll have any trouble with Smartwool or Icebreaker.
