I am extending an invitation (otherwise known as begging:^)) to Morrison bow owners. We are looking for good pics of Bob's bows to be used on his "refurbished" website. Preferred "poses" would be ones of the bows strung and in a natural/hunting setting, such as leaning against a tree, hanging on a limb, etc. They should be as clear as possible. Would love for you to contribute!
Thanks,
Gary Logsdon - Logsdon Studios
E-mail any pics to gary@logsdonstudios.com Please include a note that it if "OK" for us to publish your bow photos.
Gary, I have one of his ..um..older models. A Classic longbow. need any pics of that?
Sure, send it on! Bob has discontinued making that model, but we can still use it in the gallery. Thanks.
I have a beautiful Mac Ebony riser. I'm waiting on my copperhead backed limbs. As soon as I get them, I'll send some photos.
Thanks. Any more out there?
I've got a Shawnee I'll take pics of later this week as I'm hunting with her...
David
I'll have my new to me Shawnee early next week and will get you a couple of pics.
Thanks. Looking forward to getting the photos.
Sent two, hope to find/create more when time permits.
Killdeer~luvvembows!
I will get you a couple of my Shawnee Arapahoe next week. If you can wait for about two weeks I will be Elk hunting in the high country and can send you some great shots.
Pat
I will send some later today or tomorrow.
Todd
Gary, I sent a couple pics.
Bob
Kathy, check out this page http://www.morrisonarchery.com/stock_bows/stock_bows.html Anything look familiar?
Pat, yes, sure would like to have some shots of your bow in the mountains - go for it!
Thanks to everyone who has sent pics so far,; keep-em coming! Keep looking for your shots as I intend on using as many as the design will allow.
I would but I don't have mine yet. How about a pic of one leaning against a Double Bull Blind? maybe with a recently dispatched turkey laying on the ground beside it?
:bigsmyl:
Glad I could finally do something for Bob...besides add to the college fund. :archer:
Wow Killdeer!
That's a great pic. That bow looks almost too purty to shoot! What woods?
Gary-
I'll try to take a pic later. How big & JPEG?
Tim
Gary,
I sent you a few pictures of my cheyenne. Walnut stained dymondwood riser with black glass limbs.
Very stealthy looking.
Toby
jpg format is best, in focus, and a min. of 800X600 pixels. Most digital cameras will give you more than enough physical size. What we're looking for are pics of Bob's bows in "natural" settings, for example, leaning against a tree, stump, large rock, etc.. The kind of thing you would see if you paused and admired your bow while hunting or scouting.
Remember to send photos to gary@logsdonstudios.com Thanks!
Send it on Curtiss!
Gary, I'll have to wait until I get the bow and kill a turkey with it this Fall.
Oh, I see, wishful thinking:^)
Nothing so inspiring to an artist as a fresh subject... :bigsmyl:
I have a beautiful cane-brake backed Shawnee. I will send some pics of her to you.

I can't seem to get that page fully framed in my browser. Even making it full screen using F11 the top is cut off, no border and no black background, is that intentional? I'm using 1024x768 res.
At your display setting, which is the same as mine, you should basically be seeing this(screen capture from my computer:

Hey! That's a nice pic!
Oh... :o
:biglaugh:
That's what I got too, Chuck, and played with it until I figured that was how it was meant to be. It's a little "out of the box". :)
Killdeer
Nice site, when are we gonna be able to navigate through it,LOL.
Danny
I have a longbow that Bob made in 1997. I put diamonback skins and added a nice leather grip.
I'll try to take some pics Wednesday night when I get out.
Won't be too much longer Danny. There are a bunch of pages just about finished but I need to keep them unlinked until they're content is current. I went ahead and posted links to a few that are up and running so people could see the visual direction it was going and hopefully be inspired to send us some of their photos to work with.
Received a lot of Shawnee pics. Any Cheyenne TD, Dakota, or Cougar pics out there??
I sent you some pics of my cheyenne.
I have a Morrison ACS; Would you like a pic of it ?
How about a Morrison leaning on harvested deer?
